Contract & Booking
The ‘Client’ is all persons named on the booking form intending to experience ‘Unwind Mauritius’ services which are promoted and offered on our online platform. The ‘Product’ is all the services published, promoted and sold online by ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’. Upon purchasing our services online, the client will be deemed to have read, agreed and acknowledged all booking terms and conditions published. ‘Unwind Mauritius’ strive to offer the very best services and experiences for all customers during their holidays in Mauritius provided that the booking is confirmed and have received the full payment prior to the date of the services. When the ‘Client’ makes a booking, he/she guarantee to have full authority to do so on behalf of all individuals whose name are mentioned on the booking form and confirm that the persons are fully aware of and understand our terms and conditions. A contract between the ‘Client’ and ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ comes into being only when the booking has been confirmed in writing and a confirmation has been issued to the customer. The contract, including all conflicts rising from it, is subject to Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of The Republic of Mauritius courts. No representatives or employees of ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ have any right whatsoever to undertake any financial obligation on behalf of ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ nor to vary, alter or waive any of these terms and conditions, unless approved in writing and signed by the Chief Executive Officer of ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’. ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ reserves the right to refuse any booking at their discretion without further explanation.
Payments & Pricing Policy
The client booking request will be confirmed by ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ upon receiving the full payment due at the time of booking the chosen packages on our website. After a booking has been made, our team will send the client a confirmation email to re-confirm the receipt of payment and details of the purchased package. Although every effort is made to confirm the customer’s request, Unwind Mauritius LTD reserves the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices and amend advertised prices at any time, due to any circumstances outside the control of ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ such as but not limited to changes relating to increases in transportation costs, room category availability, governmental doings, changes in any taxes, dues or fees of services or increases in hotel rates. The published prices are also subject to exchange rates and seasonal changes which may vary.

Cancellations by ‘Client’
If any customer wishes to cancel their bookings, he/she must inform ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ in writing and the cancellation process will take effect on the date the cancellation request is received by ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’. Any name changes will be considered as a cancellation and a request for new booking will be handled accordingly and confirmed to the client subject to space availability. In the event the guest will depart earlier from the hotel than the confirmed departure date, ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ is not liable to pay any refund/compensation to the client.
Below cancellation charges will apply if any booking is canceled prior to the services:
-Full cancellation fees will be applicable if the booking is cancelled 48 hours prior to the services.
-50% cancellation fees will be applicable if the booking is cancelled 72hr prior to the services.)
-Full Payment (after deducting any bank charges) is refundable if the booking is cancelled 9 Days prior to the services.)
*The cancellation process may take a few days depending on the bank processing time until the amount is refunded to the customer. ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ will process any refund with minimum delay for any cancelled bookings.
Cancellation by ‘Unwind Mauritius’ LTD
‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ reserves the right to cancel any confirmed booking in any circumstances; however, ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ will not cancel a guaranteed booking except in the unusual circumstances such as threat of war, war, industrial dispute, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, or any other external circumstances beyond the control of ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’. Compensation will not be available if ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ is forced to modify a tour in any way or cancel the booking due to force majeure but where ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ is unable to provide the tour booked.
‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ will charge the client the full payment of the services for any No-Show bookings.
Amendments / Changes
Once a booking has been confirmed by ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’, any modifications must be advised and confirmed latest by 72 hours prior to the excursion or services.
All information of our services has been published in good confidence and ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ will use the best endeavors to provide the very best of services for its customers. ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ reserves the right to change any of the services and facilities described in its website and publications and to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation and accepts no liability for loss of pleasure resulting from any of the changes.
Inclusions & Exclusions of prices
The price of any services purchased on our website includes only the facilities and items specified. It does not include items of a personal nature including, but not limited to, personal insurance, laundry, gifts, telephone calls, passport and visa fees, gratuities or taxes, unless otherwise specified, which shall in each and every case be the responsibility of the customer. Hotel early/late check-in/out is not guaranteed unless paid for by the client.
Liability of ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’
Unwind Mauritius LTD acts as the Tour Operator only on behalf of the suppliers and consequently accepts no liability whatsoever for accident, injury, loss, damage, delay or any other irregularity arising whatsoever. Unwind Mauritius LTD has no direct control over the provision of services or facilities by our suppliers and therefore we do not accept liability for errors or exclusions by the suppliers. ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ strives to offer the best excursions and activities and the same contain an element of risk to the personal safety of the client and by accepting these booking terms and conditions, clients are aware of the risks present in their chosen packages and assume such risks at their own decision. Unwind Mauritius LTD accepts no liability for client’s damages where Unwind Mauritius LTD has fulfilled its duty of care to customers by providing services of a reasonable standard. Unwind Mauritius LTD accepts no liability if additional costs to the client are incurred through delay, accident or disruption of the product(s) beyond the control of ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ by force majeure. ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ cannot be held responsible in the event of its inability to provide already confirmed & contracted services as a result of Force Majeure, Acts of God, or Acts of the Government of Mauritius.
In the event the client has a complaint about any of the services or experience, the complaint must be elevated immediately with an Unwind Mauritius LTD employee or legal representative so that ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ can use its best endeavors to rectify the problem. Unwind Mauritius LTD will not be able to rectify a problem for its customers if it is unaware of the same. Failure to complain immediately will reduce ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’s liability to pay compensation. Although every effort will be made to resolve a complaint to the customer’s satisfaction, it is specifically recorded that ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ in no way accepts liability for any claim.
Elderly / Disable persons
The client must inform ‘Unwind Mauritius LTD’ prior to the excursion if any traveler has disabilities as it is extremely important for us to make the required arrangements to ensure an enjoyable and smooth holiday in Mauritius.
