Standing erect on the west coast of Mauritius, the lighthouse of Albion is an extremely popular destination amongst many tourists as well as locals. Although the lighthouse itself is not open to the public, it is still worthwhile to feast your eyes on one of the rare lighthouses on the island. 

Several meters after the lighthouse, you will find a viewpoint over the sea to the left of Mauritius. Watch calmly as the strong waves hit the rocks and sprinkle fine drops of water all over the place. Spend a few minutes taking in the natural calm and serenity of the whole setting of this special place.
