Constructed on the slope of Signal Mountain, Marie Reine de la Paix is a church in the open air providing a beautiful panoramic view of Port Louis. If you are able to muster up the courage of climbing the 82 steps leading to the top, you will be rewarded to the most splendid view ever. 

The charming open church is also the place where Pope Francis conducted the famous mass attended by over a 100 000 faithfuls during his apostolic visit to the paradisiac island in 2019.
